Traditional Red Sarouk Pattern
The digital pictures we display have the most accurate colors possible, but we cannot be responsible for individual monitor settings.
Though the Sarouk name is often used to describe rug designs from all over the Feraghan plains area of ancient Persia, this is one of the rare instances where a Sarouk rug actually was designed in the tiny village of the same name. First brought to America in the early 1900's, this detached-floral Sarouk has been a favorite in this country almost from the start. The Red Sarouk version pictured here is woven of 39 individual colors.
